New patients
Before you come in, and when you do
A first visit is a conversation first. Here is the order of things.
Step 1: Choose a time
Book on our own scheduling page, or call and Tanisha will find one. Tell us your dentist’s name if you have one.
Step 2: Fill in forms on the portal
Health history goes on our private patient portal, not by email and not through the contact form on this site.
Patient formsStep 3: We check your benefits
If you have a dental plan, Tanisha contacts it before the visit and tells you what it lists for orthodontics.
Step 4: Come in and talk
Bring a photo ID, your insurance card if you have one, and any recent X-rays your dentist can send. Parents are welcome in the room.
Step 5: Leave with options in writing
You hear the options, a range for how long each might take, and a written estimate if you want one.
What you leave with
A plan you can take home
The doctor explains what she found and what each option asks of you. Nothing is decided in the room.
If you want time, take the estimate home, talk it over with your family and your dentist, and call when you are ready.
The options, in plain words
A range for how long each might take
A written estimate, if you ask
